POE Splitter for IP camera with 802.3AT Standard 12V 2A Output, DC48V Input , WP-PD3007B

    Sold By: Barclés

This PoE Splitter is an adapter that allows the supply of 12V DC power to IP cameras. Usually IP Cameras have a built in PoE circuit that allows the camera to accept power coming from a PoE switch. For cameras like our 5MP IP cameras with 30 meters of night vision that don’t have an integrated PoE power board and require 12V DC power, this adapter allows the user to convert the Non PoE cameras into PoE Camera so they can accept power from a PoE or PoE+ switch.

When used with a PoE+ switch, this adapter will allow up to 2A of 12V DC current output from its 2.1mm standard CCTV power plug, and it will support a 10/100Mbps network connection.

    Pro user tip #1

In a scenario where you need to remove the Power component from a PoE signal, this splitter can come in handy. For example, to connect a PoE IP PTZ Camera that is PoE compatible to a PoE switch 200 meters away, the PoE power provided from a switch will not be sufficient. The correct way is to connect the PTZ camera to the PoE switch for data transmission only, and provide power to the camera locally from a power outlet near the camera.

    Pro user tip #2

If you have a PoE camera that has a malfunctioning PoE power board, you can use this PoE adapter to power the camera over PoE as long as the camera has a 12V DC power plug.
